F-Secure merupakan sebuah perusahaan Antivirus dan Computer Security yang berbasis di Helsinki, Finlandia. Sebelum pke engine punya BD ini, dulunya F-Secure memakai scan engine milik Kaspersky, tapi dari F-Secure sendiri tidak mau menjelaskan kenapa mereka mengganti scan engine keduanya dgn BD, coba baca quote ini:
