The much-anticipated Lone Survivor movie based on Marcus Luttrell’s thrilling best-selling book will be directed by well-known actor/director Peter Berg.

The four main roles in the film have been cast and they are as follows: Mark Wahlberg will portray Marcus Luttrell; Taylor Kitsch will star as Lt. Michael Murphy; Ben Foster will play Matt Axelson and Emile Hirsch will take on the role of Danny Dietz.

Filming is scheduled to begin in late September in the mountains of New Mexico.
