Simple question, i want to know what the true english translation for "Banyak hal yang berubah sejak aku melihat kamu setahun yang lalu, tapi tidak ada satupun yang bisa mengubah cintaku padamu"

I have some opinion, but not really sure
1. So many things have changed since i saw you one year ago, but nothing can change my love for you

which is true? or totally wrong?
Please also explain me how the translation can be like "the true one" , which such of grammar or anything
